B BUW,101. emm-03\06\ 97 <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII PLANNING DEPARTMENT <br />BACKGROUND REPORT <br />MARION K. BUSH <br />CHANGE OF ZONE APPLICATION NO, 97-2 <br />MARION K. BUSH, has submitted an application for a Change of Zone for <br />approximately 7.429 acres of land by changing the district classification from Agricultural <br />(A -5a) to Family Agricultural (FA -la). The property is located along the north side of <br />Napoopoo Road and adjacent (makai) to the old Coffee Mill site at Kahauloa 2nd, South Kona, <br />Hawaii, TMK: 8-2-8:57. <br />GENERAL INFORMATION <br />1. Owner: Marion P.K. Bush is the fee owner of the subject property. <br />PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT <br />2. Request: The owner wishes to subdivide the property into a total of six (6) lots with <br />the minimum 1 acre lot size. <br />3. Objectives: "This subdivision will create four lots for the Bush family and their <br />children for agricultural and housing purposes. Two of the lot are intended to be sold <br />for the purpose of providing funds to do the infrastructure for the remaining four lots." <br />4. Additional Information: The applicant has submitted the following in support of the <br />request: (See Exhibit A - Applicant's Change of Zone Application dated January <br />25, 1997) <br />DESCRIPTION OF COUNTY & STATE PLANS <br />5.
