Waikoloa Emergency Evacuation Road <br /> <br /> The Waikoloa Village Association would like to provide a monetary contribution of $60,000 to the County <br /> of Hawai'i and for it to be used towards the construction of the Waikoloa Emergency Evacuation Road. <br /> This project, which provides an alternate route for the evacuation of Waikoloa Village, is to construct a 12 <br /> to 15 foot wide gravel road from an extension of Hulu Street in Waikoloa Village, makai to connect with <br /> the Queen Ka'ahumanu Highway. The total estimated cost of this project is $180,000 with $60,000 <br /> coming from the Waikoloa Village Association and the remainder from County funds. <br /> Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the acceptance of these funds from the Waikoloa Village Association. <br /> P.O.
