DUTIES OF THE POSITION <br /> List each duty assigned to the position separately. Serves as consultant to project managers in the development of contracts and <br /> related documents. <br /> Examples of Duties: <br /> 1. Reviews and edits submitted contract documents, including notice to bidders, special provisions and 35% <br /> <br /> specifications for conformance with state procurement law, Federal regulations and General <br /> Requirements and Covenants prior to advertising. Assists project manager with scheduling of <br /> meetings and timetables for bids and requests for proposals. Prepares award letters, contracts, and <br /> other necessary documents; reviews, edits and drafts consultant contracts and requests for proposals, <br /> all in compliance with rules, regulations and laws. (1,2) <br /> <br /> 2. Prepares and processes supplemental contracts for execution as required and in accordance with rules, 15% <br /> regulations and laws. (1,2) <br /> <br /> 3. Maintains database of contracts and change orders processed through the department including 10% <br /> information relating to dates, amounts, current status and other specifics of contract. Provides <br /> statistics and various reports as requested. Prepares, updates and posts the department's informational <br /> listings, procurement notices, and departmental forms on the Internet at the county and/or state <br /> websites as required and in accordance with rules, regulations and laws.
