<br /> August 20, 2007 <br /> Page 10 <br /> ~B Have public utilities and facilities, such as sewer, gas, <br /> electrical, and water systems, located and constructed to <br /> minimize flood damage; <br /> [(3~] ~ Have adequate drainage provided to reduce exposure to <br /> flood damage; <br /> ~ Comply with the requirements of section 27-24; <br /> [(3~] ~ The floodplain administrator shall require and maintain a <br /> {ee$y] a copy of the title and signature pages of all <br /> necessary permits from those governmental agencies from <br /> which approval is required by Federal or State law, <br /> including section 404 of the Federal Water Pollution <br /> Control Act Amendments of 1972, 33 U.S.C. 1334. This <br /> provision, i.e. pazagraph 27-20(a)(4)(E), upon approval of <br /> this ordinance, shall take effect on March 31, 2008; and <br /> [(bj] ~ For all proposed developments and/or subdivisions greater <br /> than either two lots or one acre, the developer and/or <br /> subdivider shall include base flood elevation data for each <br /> of the lots. <br /> Lb) Other areas: Zone X (shaded and unshaded). <br /> All new subdivisions and other developments within areas designated as Zone X <br /> (shaded) or Zone X (not shaded) shall comply with the following: <br /> (1) The floodplain administrator shall require and maintain a copy of the title <br /> and si nag <br /> ture pages of all necessary permits from those governmental <br /> agencies from which approval is required by Federal or State law, <br /> including section 404 of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act <br /> Amendments of 1972, 33 U.S.C. 1334. In SECTION 14, bill 151 was chanEed by amending paragraph 27-22(2) (formerly 27- <br /> <br /> 22(b)) as follows: <br /> "(2) If an encroachment within a floodway is allowed under the conditions of <br /> pazagraph ["~,-~(a~] 27-22(1), all new construction, improvements to repetitive <br /> loss structures, substantial improvement and other proposed new development <br /> shall comply with all applicable flood hazard reduction provisions established in <br /> this chapter." <br /> <br />
