Subject Properties: The project area consists of two parcels totaling approximately <br /> <br /> 45:011 acres. Both parcels are approximately 22 acres in size. Surrounding Zoning/Land Uses: Surrounding parcels to the north are zoned A-3a, and <br /> parcels to the east are zoned A-20a. Lands to the south are zoned A-40a, and to the west <br /> are lands zoned A-la (Kohala By the Sea) and A-3a (Kohala Estates). To the northwest <br /> <br /> across Ala Kahua Drive is a property zoned FA-3a under Ordinance No. 05 64. <br /> 10. ALISH: Unclassified. <br /> <br /> 11. Land Study Bureau's Detailed Land Classification System: Unclassified. <br /> 12. U.S. Soil Survey: Kawaihae very rocky very fine sandy loam, 6 to 12 percent slopes <br /> <br /> (KOC).
