The funds will be used to implement four (4) energy efficiency activities for the <br />County of Hawai'i. These activities include 1) Street Light Retrofit to Energy Efficient LED <br />Lamps, 2) Residential Green Retrofit & Energy Efficiency Training Program, <br />3) Government Operations Energy Sustainability Management System, and 4) Financing <br />Package for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Projects. <br /> <br />Enclosed is a resolution to authorize the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the U.S. <br />Department of Energy for this grant. <br /> <br />Also enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating <br />this grant award. <br /> <br />If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Department of Research and <br />Development. <br /> <br />J!:dE~~ <br /> <br />Director of Finance <br /> <br />Enc. <br /> <br />cc: R&D <br />CP\~S. 2'2...0Q; 6,.1( '~5) <br /> <br />Comm.
