BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> <br />Council action is needed to amend the Department of Research and Development's fiscal 2010 budget to <br />accept a new federal grant. The $737,800 Energy Efficiency and Conservation block grant from the U.S. <br />Department of Energy will be used to implement four energy efficiency activities for the county.
