The property is located at the northeastern comer of <br />Kalanikoa Street-Kuawa Street intersection, Waiilkea, South Hilo, Hawai'i. <br /> <br />The Commission concurs with the following Planning Director's reasons for recommending <br />favorable consideration of the request: <br /> <br />The applicant is requesting a change of zone change of zone from ML-20 to <br />MCX-20 for approximately 52,457 square feet ofland to convert portions of the existing <br />warehouse structure into office and/or retail spaces. The applicant has no plans to <br />construct a new building on the site. Instead, improvements will be limited to <br />landscaping and interior renovations.
