These monies, derived from federal funds, were <br />awarded by the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division of the State of Hawaii Department of Health. <br />In anticipation of getting this grant, $750,000 was already budgeted in this fiscal year's budget. <br />The monies from Phase I and II were grouped together when they were transferred by Resolution <br />No. 246 -09, from the Prosecutor's Office to the Office of Management. To better distinguish <br />between the first and second phase of this project, this bill separates the funds by decreasing the <br />current year's appropriation of $750,000 from the original set of accounts and appropriates the <br />total amount of the Phase II grant into new account numbers. <br />FC Rept.
