Comm. No. 793 <br />Bill No. 240 <br />Page -2- <br />Kalani Kahalioumi and Steven Mosciatti from the Office of Management were present to answer <br />Council Member questions. They explained that these Federal funds come with strict guidelines <br />on how the funds may be used. Service providers and organizations who apply for the funds must <br />offer an evidence -based program to fight against underage drinking. These are programs, proven <br />to work in other areas throughout the country, which may be adapted to local cultural <br />circumstances.
