The property is located along the west side of Alaloa Drive, approximately 1,150 feet south of the Ainaola Drive — Alaloa Road intersection, Waiakea Homestead 2 Series, South Hilo, Hawai`i, TMK: 2 -4- 32:12. PROPOSED ACTION 1. Request: Change of zone from Agricultural 3 -acre (A -3a) to a Family Agricultural 1- acre (FA -1a). The applicant is requesting a change of zone in order to subdivide the property into approximately 4 lots, which would be distributed to family members and sold to cover infrastructure costs. Project Timeline /Cost: Upon approval of the change of zone, the applicant intends to begin the subdivision process and complete tentative plans by 2011.
