Appropriates revenues <br />of $51,607 in the Federal Grants - High Intensity Impact Grant account; and appropriates <br />same to the Police Department’s Federal Grants - High Intensity Impact Grant account. <br />These funds, derived from the U.S. Department of Justice Drug Enforcement <br />Administration (DEA) will be used to detail up to three experienced officers to the <br />Hawai‘i Airport Task Force (HATF) to disrupt illicit drug traffic in Hawai‘i, gather and <br />report intelligence data, and conduct covert operations.
