FC-25 Page 3 January 3, 2012 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Comm. 515: AUTHORIZES THE ACCEPTANCE OF A MONETARY DONATION OF $1,000 TO THE <br />(Res. 208-12) HAWAI‘I POLICE DEPARTMENT TO BE USED TO PURCHASE EDUCATIONAL <br />MATERIALS ON CRIME PREVENTION AND THE FIGHT AGAINST DRUGS <br />Donated by the Hawai‘i Police Athletic Foundation, the funds would be used to purchase <br />materials such as pamphlets and brochures to educate the public on crime prevention and the fight <br />against drugs in the County of Hawai‘i. <br />; and <br />(Bill 162) AMENDS ORDINANCE NO. 11-59, AS AMENDED, THE OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE <br />COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2012 <br />Increases revenues in Contribution from Private Source ($1,000); and appropriates same to Police <br />Department Administration Division - Other Current Expenses. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Comm. 516: AMENDS ORDINANCE NO. 11-59, AS AMENDED, THE OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE <br />(Bill 163) COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2012 <br />Increases revenues in Federal Grants – Coordinated Services ($30,000); and appropriates same to <br />Coordinated Services - Equipment. Funds would be used to assist with the Sage Plus Program. <br />The program assists the Hawai‘i State Health Insurance Program (SHIP) in providing members <br />with Medicare for face to face comparison and enrollment in Medicare Health and Drug plans <br />through community events, as well as to maximize the utilization of existing community services <br />and resources. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />The meeting places are accessible for persons with disabilities.
