Notifies the <br />Council that the Office of the Legislative Auditor has requested the Finance <br />Department's Purchasing Division for an additional $5,000 as payment for additional <br />services performed by Acuity LLP, to verify that the County has properly and <br />accurately prepared the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development <br />Forms for FY 2011 -2012 as required by the USDA. Funds will be from the <br />Legislative Auditor's External Audit Miscellaneous Contract Services account. <br />Comm. 17: AMENDS ORDINANCE NO. 12 -86, AS AMENDED, THE OPERATING <br />(Bill 4) BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAII FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING <br />JUNE 30, 2013 <br />From Finance Director Nancy Crawford, dated December 4, 2012. Increases <br />revenues in the Federal Grants — State Homeland Security Program Fiscal Year 2010 <br />account ($119,487); and appropriates same to the Civil Defense Agency's State <br />Homeland Security Program Fiscal Year 2010 account ($119,487), bringing the total <br />appropriation to $1,119, 487. The State of Hawaii Department of Defense is <br />providing $188,000 of additional federally derived funding to the County of Hawaii <br />Civil Defense Agency for their FY 2010 Homeland Security Grant program. These <br />funds will be used to purchase specialized equipment to enhance the capability of <br />State and County agencies to prevent and respond to incidents of terrorism and to <br />support "all hazards" catastrophic preparedness initiatives. <br />
