REQUEST: <br /> The Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) requests Finance Committee and Council <br /> actions authorizing the Mayor to enter into a multi-year Housing Assitance Payment Contract (Agreement) <br /> with property owners or property managers of selected projects for the Section 8 Project Based Voucher <br /> Program (PBV Program) offered through a Public Notice dated April 13, 20, and 27, 2014 <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The purpose of the PBV Program is to encourage property owners to make available rental housing units <br /> to low-income families that are not within the current housing fair market rents.
