In reviewing the time <br /> extension request for Change of Zone Ordinance No.05-074,we have determined that an <br /> administrative time extension has not previously been granted. Condition N(4)allows for an <br /> administrative time extension for a period not to exceed the period originally granted or the <br /> condition performance,which means that had an administrative time extension been granted it <br /> would have expired on August 14, 2013. Therefore,you will need to apply for a time extension <br /> to Condition B(Water Commitments)and Condition C(Complete Construction)by resubmitting <br /> a letter explaining the request and the reasons, along with 20 copies that shall be forwarded to the <br /> Planning Commission with a$250 filing fee. <br /> Please be aware that in 2008,the County Council amended the County Code by adopting <br /> concurrency requirements (enclosed)related to roads, water supply,and civil defense sirens. <br /> These concurrency requirements apply to new applications for a change of zone as well as <br /> applications for extension of time to perform conditions of a change of zone ordinance. <br /> The County Council also adopted the Kona Community Development Plan(CDP) in 2008, <br /> which is intended to guide the location and character of development within the North and South <br /> Kona districts. A copy of the CDP is available on our website at: <br /> htta: www.hawaiicountvcdp.info,north-and-south-kona-cdu.cdp-final-drafts <br /> The subject parcel is located within the identified Kailua Village Redevelopment Regional <br /> Center Transit Oriented Development (TOD) within the Kona Community Development Plan <br /> (CDP).
