The properties are the site of the formerly proposed Trees of Kukuihaele <br /> development located within Kukuihaele and makai of the Honoka`a-Waipi`o Road (Highway <br /> 240) and the old government road at Waikoekoe and Kanahonua, Hamakua, Hawaii. <br /> The Commission concurs with the following Planning Director's reasons for recommending <br /> favorable consideration of the request: <br /> State Land Use Boundary Amendment <br /> In 1994, Royal Coast Resorts Corporation and Silverlink Holdings, Ltd. applied <br /> for four State Land Use Boundary Amendments, a Change of Zone and a General Plan <br /> Amendment in order to develop the Amanresort.
