Water: At the time of this writing, no comments were received from the Department of Water Supply(DWS) Engineering Division. However, after contacting the DWS on November 22, 2017, staff mentioned that their comments are forthcoming. Their comment letter will be included as an addendum to this report once received. 29. Wastewater: The Department of Environmental Management Wastewater Division (DEM) commented that the applicant shall conduct a sewer study in accordance with the then applicable wastewater system design standards prior to approval to connect to the County sewer system. The applicant shall provide such sewer line or other facility improvements as the Director of DEM may reasonably require, which the sewer study may indicate are advisable for mitigation of impacts of the proposed project. The City and County of Honolulu revised Volume 1, Wastewater Collection Systems in July 2017. Existing sewer studies shall be updated to reflect requirements under the new Design Standards. 30. Solid Waste: The applicant indicated that the solid waste generated by the proposed project will be disposed at appropriate sites designated by the Department of Environmental Management. 31. Other Utilities/Services: Electricity, cable and telephone are available to the site.
