<br />Comm. 128: AMENDS ORDINANCE NO. 12-87, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO PUBLIC
<br />(Bill 36) IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
<br />JULY 1, 2012 TO JUNE 30, 2013
<br />From Council Member Brenda J. Ford, dated January 31, 2013. Adds the Parks and
<br />Recreation, Kahuku Park Improvements, Phase 2, American Disability Act (ADA)
<br />Ramps project for $600,000 to the Capital Budget. Funds shall be provided from the
<br />General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund-Fund Balance and/or Other Sources
<br />($600,000). The project will provide ADA ramps to the pavilions and ball field.

<br />Comm. 129: AMENDS ORDINANCE NO. 12-87, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO PUBLIC
<br />(Bill 37) IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
<br />JULY 1, 2012 TO JUNE 30, 2013
<br />From Council Member Brenda J. Ford, dated January 31, 2013. Adds the Parks and
<br />Recreation, Kahuku Park Improvements, Phase 3, Children’s Playground Equipment,
<br />Matting, and Gazebo project for $250,000 to the Capital Budget. Funds shall be
<br />provided from the General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund-Fund Balance
<br />and/or Other Sources ($250,000). The project will replace the playground equipment
<br />and regulation matting to reduce fall injuries; and adds a gazebo and barbeque
<br />apparatus.

<br />Comm. 130: AMENDS ORDINANCE NO. 12-87, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO PUBLIC
<br />(Bill 38) IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
<br />JULY 1, 2012 TO JUNE 30, 2013
<br />From Council Member Brenda J. Ford, dated January 31, 2013. Adds the Parks and
<br />Recreation, Kahuku Park Improvements, Phase 4, Senior Center, Gymnasium, and
<br />Emergency Shelter project for $5,100,000 to the Capital Budget. Funds shall be
<br />provided from the General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund-Fund Balance
<br />and/or Other Sources ($5,100,000). The project will construct a facility for
<br />multi-purpose uses: a senior center, a gymnasium for sports, and an emergency
<br />shelter for overnights stays in the event of a disaster.

<br />report relating to the sale and issuance of $98,825,000 County of Hawai‘i, General
<br />Obligation Bonds 2013 A, B, and C, pursuant to the authority granted by County
<br />Council Ordinance Nos. 04-59, as amended, 07-120, as amended, 08-106, as
<br />amended, 08-148, as amended, 09-153, as amended, 11-40, 12-77, 12-150, 12-163,
<br />and 13-6.
