The Office of the Corporation Counsel wishes to enter into a two-year lease for a new postage meter, with upgrades, at no additional charge. Comm. 153: AMENDS THE GEOTHERMAL RELOCATION AND COMMUNITY BENEFIT (Bill 41) FUND OF ORDINANCE NO. 12-86, AS AMENDED, THE OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2013 From Mayor William P. Kenoi, dated February 21, 2013. Appropriates revenues of $700,000 in the Fund Balance from Previous Year account, and appropriates the same to the Geothermal-OCE (Other Current Expenses) account ($700,000). The purpose of the transfer is to address the multiple relocation requests that are being processed under the Geothermal Relocation Program authorized by procedures set forth in Ordinance No. 96-2 and Rule No. 10 of the Planning Commission Rules of Practice and Procedure. Comm. 154: AMENDS THE BEAUTIFICATION FUND OF ORDINANCE NO. 12-86, AS (Bill 42) AMENDED, THE OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2013 From Mayor William P. Appropriates revenues of $97,000 in the Fund Balance from Previous Year account, and appropriates the same to the following OCE (Other Current Expenses) accounts: Roadside Beautification ($72,000), for use by the Department of Public Works; and Parks Roadside Beautification ($25,000), for use by the Department of Parks and Recreation. The Department of Human Resources Workers’ Compensation Division seeks to renew its agreement with the State of Hawai‘i to continue providing workers’ compensation administration services for the Department of Parks and Recreation and the Police Department. Comm. 156: CREATES TWO (2) VEHICLE REGISTRATION AND LICENSING (VRL) (Res. 67-13) CLERK II POSITIONS FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE From Finance Director Nancy Crawford, dated February 21, 2013. The department is requesting to establish two new permanent VRL Clerk II (SR-13) positions (one for Hilo and one for Kona), which will be funded by the State Department of Transportation. In addition to issuing State Identification (SID) cards, the positions will also perform driver license and vehicle registration duties.
