Funds <br />would be used towards future energy savings efforts by the Public Works <br />Department’s Traffic Division. <br /> <br /> Reference: Comm. 325 <br /> Intr. by: Ms. Poindexter <br /> Approve: FC-76 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ORDER OF THE DAY (SECOND OR FINAL READING) <br /> <br /> <br />Bill 91: AUTHORIZES THE ISSUANCE OF GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS OF <br />THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I IN AN AGGREGATE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT <br />NOT TO EXCEED $1,169,000 FOR THE PURPOSE OF FINANCING A <br />PORTION OF THE COSTS OF CONSTRUCTING A PUBLIC WATER <br />SYSTEM SERVING THE KONA OCEAN VIEW PROPERTIES <br />SUBDIVISION; FIXES THE FORM, DENOMINATION, AND CERTAIN <br />DETAILS OF SUCH BONDS; AND PROVIDES FOR THE SALE OF SUCH <br />BONDS <br />Authorizes the issuance and sale of the bonds to the United States Department of <br />Agriculture Rural Development in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed <br />$1,169,000.
