response times from the Palisades Fire Station to the subdivisions of Coastview,
Wonderview, Kona Highlands and Keahole View Estates.
2. The sight-distance at Kaiminani Drive and Holoholo Street is vastly greater

than the sight-distance at Kaiminani Drive and Keokeo Street. Making the connections at

Holoholo Street will thereby greatly reduce the risk of vehicle collisions and resultant
injuries and/or potential fatalities.
3. A commonly heazd citizen complaint is that there are no north/south access
roads NEAR THE BASE of these subdivisions. This complaint would be virtually
eliminated by the connection of Holoholo, Nana and Kauwila Streets.
This is the most logical and defensible position to be supported by the Mayor's Office,
City Council, Public Works and Planning. I firmly believe that the option presented
above is in the best interest of public safety and fiscal responsibility.
Once again, I urge you to NOT remove the Keokeo Street barricade and connect to Holu
Street. Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
l.,`~
Randall E. Mog sen
pc.
