Arakaki <br />and Members of the County Council <br />Page 6 <br />February 28, 2003 <br />We are also taking steps to replace major software programs on the County's Wang <br />computer system. Included in this budget are funds to lease or purchase new financial, <br />case tracking, and permit tracking software. <br />Aside from these two major initiatives, the budget for FY 2003-04 remains conservative. <br />We are still concerned about the potential impact of continued economic uncertainties. <br />In future budgets we will seek funds to assist departments to replace old equipment and <br />increase services to growing communities.
