Soil Type: Keaukaha extremely stony muck, 6 to 20 percent slopes (rKFD). <br /> The Keaukaha Series consists of well drained, thin organic soils over pahoehoe lava <br /> <br /> bedrock. <br /> 16. Land Study Bureau's Productivity Rating: Unclassified. <br /> <br /> 17. Noise Impacts: Existing ambient noise includes airport/aviation use and traffic. Short- <br /> <br /> term noise impacts associated with the project are temporary, and all applicable State rules <br /> governing construction noise abatement will be observed. Site work will be limited to <br /> <br /> weekday daylight hours. <br /> 18. Air Quality: The proposed project will not directly impact air quality in the area. <br /> <br /> Fugitive dust during construction can be mitigated by compliance with the regulations of <br /> the Department of Health. <br /> <br /> 19. FIRM: Zone "Y', an area outside of the 500-year flood plain. <br /> 20. Coastal Hazards: The property is not an oceanfront parcel, and will not affect, or be <br /> <br /> affected by shoreline processes. <br /> 21. Recreational Resources: The proposed development will not reduce the size of the <br /> <br /> coastline or other areas used for public recreational uses. <br /> <br /> 22. Scenic Resources: The project will not affect the line-of-sight towards the ocean or the <br /> mountains. <br /> <br /> 23. Flora/Fauna: As the project site has been improved and is located within an urban <br /> environment close to commercial, industrial and residential uses, no professional surveys <br /> <br /> were conducted of the site. The applicants believe that there are no rare or endangered <br /> floral or faunal resources within or proximate to the project site. <br /> <br /> 24. Archaeological/Historical Resources: No professional surveys were conducted of the <br /> site, due to the history of extensive disturbance. By letter dated February 3, 2006, the <br /> <br /> applicants have requested a "no effect" letter from the Department of Land and Natural <br /> Resources Historic Preservation Division. <br /> <br /> 25. Cultural or Native Gathering Rights: There is no evidence of any traditional and <br /> customary Native Hawaiian rights being practiced on the site, nor existence of any known <br /> <br /> valued cultural, historical or native resources in the area. <br /> <br /> -4- <br />
