Comm. 1511: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE OFFICE OF THE MAYOR TO ENTER (Res. 780-08) INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF HAWAII DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, PURSUANT TO HRS 46-7, FOR AN AGGRESSIVE DRIVING PROJECT GRANT FOR HAWAII COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT; and (Bill 382) AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 08-78, AS AMENDED, THE OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAII FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2009 (appropriates revenues of $36,000 into the Police Department's Aggressive Driving account; these funds will be used to reduce the number of fatal crashes on Queen Ka`ahumanu Highway, Hawaii Belt Road Route 190, and Route 11 in Kona, South Kohala and Ka`u Districts) From Finance Director William Takaba, dated October 7, 2008, transmitting the above resolution and bill.
