The bill increases <br />revenues of $49,000 in the Federal Grants - Roadblock Grant account, and appropriates <br />same to the Police Department’s HCPD Roadblock Grant account, bringing the total <br />appropriation to $144,000. These funds will be used to purchase one <br />Generator/Spotlight, one Intoxilyzer, Road Flares, Department of Health Intoxilyzer <br />instructor training, and to allow police officers to attend Drug Recognition Expert <br />training in Honolulu. <br /> <br />Comm. 378: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE OFFICE OF THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO <br />(Res. 162-11) AN AGREEMENT WITH THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, DRUG <br />ENFORCEMENT ADMINISTRATION (DEA), PURSUANT TO HRS 46-7, TO <br />SUPPORT AND PARTICIPATE IN THE HAWAI‘I AIRPORT TASK FORCE <br />EFFORT; and <br /> <br />(Bill 108) AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 11-59, AS AMENDED, THE <br />OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I FOR THE FISCAL YEAR <br />ENDING JUNE 30, 2012 <br />From Finance Director Nancy Crawford, dated September 22, 2011. The resolution <br />authorizes the Hawai‘i Airport Task Force grant; and the bill appropriates the funds of <br />$17,300 in the Federal Grants - Hawai‘i Airport Task Force (HATF) account, and <br />appropriates same to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Hawai‘i Airport Task Force (HATF) <br />account. These funds will be used to disrupt narcotics and dangerous drug trafficking in <br />Hawai‘i. <br /> <br />Comm. 379: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE OFFICE OF THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO <br />(Res. 163-11) AN AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF HAWAI‘I DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH, <br />SOLID AND HAZARDOUS WASTE BRANCH, HAZARDOUS WASTE SECTION <br />(DOH), PURSUANT TO HRS 46-7, FOR A PROGRAM TO CONDUCT THE <br />“HOUSEHOLD DO-IT-YOURSELFER” USED MOTOR OIL PROGRAM; and <br /> <br />(Bill 109) AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 11-59, AS AMENDED, THE <br />OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I FOR THE FISCAL YEAR <br />ENDING JUNE 30, 2012 <br />From Finance Director Nancy Crawford, dated September 22, 2011, transmitting the <br />above resolution and bill. The resolution authorizes the Used Oil/Collection grant; and <br />the bill appropriates funds of $15,000 in the State Grants - Used Oil Collection/Disposal <br />account, and appropriates same to the Department of Environmental Management’s <br />(DEM) Used Oil Collection/Disposal account. These funds will be used support this <br />program to collect and dispose of used motor oil. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
