Funds would be used to promote alternative transportation options and safe routes to schools through the Trek the Trails project. Reference: Comm. 981 Intr. by: Mr. Kaneali`i-Kleinfelder(B/R) First Reading: October 5, 2022 Bill 210: AMENDS ORDINANCE NO. 22-64, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO PUBLIC (Draft 2) IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2022 TO JUNE 30, 2023 Adds the Parks and Recreation Papa`aloa Gym &Park Improvements—County project($5 million) and the Papa`aloa Community Center Gym— State project ($5 million) to the Capital Budget. Funds for these projects shall be provided from General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund—Fund Balance and/or other Sources ($5 million), and State Grants Receivable ($5 million), and would be used for the planning, design, and construction for a new Papa`aloa gym.
