Hawaii County Clerk 01/30/2025 09:34:22 AM Hawaii County Council-6 February 5,2025 Bill 13: AMENDS ORDINANCE NO. 24-32, AS AMENDED, THE OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2025 Appropriates revenues in the Federal Grants—Hawai`i County Police Department Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Grant account($41,792); and appropriates the same to the Hawaii County Police Department Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Grant account. Funds would be used to conduct community engagement and enforcement activities related to pedestrian safety. Reference: Comm. 69 Intr. by: Council Member Kaneali`i-Kleinfelder (B/R) First Reading: January 22, 2025 Bill 14: AMENDS ORDINANCE NO. 24-32, AS AMENDED, THE OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2025 Increases revenues in the Federal Grants—Housing Trust Fund Grant account ($137,592); and appropriates the same to the Housing Trust Fund Projects account ($130,351) and Housing Trust Fund Administration account($7,241), for a total appropriation of$2,987,592. Funds would be used to produce affordable housing through the acquisition, new construction, reconstruction, and/or rehabilitation of non-luxury housing with suitable amenities.
