FC-20 Page 5 October 18, 2011 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Comm. 415: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 11-59, AS AMENDED, THE <br />(Bill 122) OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I FOR THE FISCAL YEAR <br />ENDING JUNE 30, 2012 <br />From Finance Director Nancy Crawford, dated October 5, 2011. Increases revenues of <br />$10,550 in the State Grants – Area Plan on Aging account; and appropriates same to the <br />Office of Aging’s Area Plan on Aging account. These funds from the State of Hawai‘i <br />Department of Health’s Executive Office on Aging are being given to the Hawai‘i <br />County Office of Aging to be used to continue implementation of the Chronic Disease <br />Self Management Program (CDSMP). <br />Recommends passage of Bill 122 on first reading: <br /> <br />Ayes: Committee Members Blas, Hoffmann, Pilago, Smart, <br /> Yagong, Yoshimoto and Chair Ford. <br />Noes: None. <br />Absent: Committee Members Ikeda and Onishi. <br /> <br /> <br />Comm. 416: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 11-60, AS AMENDED, <br />(Bill 123) RELATING TO PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR THE <br />FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2011 TO JUNE 30, 2012 <br />From Finance Director Nancy Crawford, dated October 5, 2011. Adds the Public Works, <br />Traffic Calming Improvements for District 9 project for $46,780 to the Capital Budget. <br />These funds will allow the construction and installation of flashing lights and reduced <br />speed limits in designated school zones and marked crosswalks. <br />Recommends passage of Bill 123 on first reading: <br /> <br />Ayes: Committee Members Blas, Hoffmann, Pilago, Smart, <br /> Yagong, Yoshimoto and Chair Ford. <br />Noes: None. <br />Absent: Committee Members Ikeda and Onishi. <br /> <br /> <br />Comm. 417: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE OFFICE OF THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO <br />(Res. 179-11) AN AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF HAWAI‘I DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH, <br /> MATERNAL & CHILD HEALTH BRANCH, PURSUANT TO HRS 46-7, TO <br />SUPPORT THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I OFFICE OF THE MAYOR/IMMIGRATION <br />INFORMATION OFFICE’S COMMUNITY BASED CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION <br />PROGRAM; and <br />Recommends adoption of Res. 179-11: <br /> <br />Ayes: Committee Members Blas, Hoffmann, Onishi, Pilago, Smart, <br /> Yagong, Yoshimoto and Chair Ford. <br />Noes: None. <br />Absent: Committee Member Ikeda. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
