The funds will be used by the Police Department’s Roadblock program to conduct Driving Under the Influence (DUI) checkpoints during the National DUI Campaign. Victorine III, dated October 16, 2013, requesting an attorney-client confidential discussion to consult with the Council regarding a property damage claim occurring on or about May 7, 2013, submitted by Dongbu Insurance on behalf of Ms. Linda Revell. Comm. 489: DISCUSSION REGARDING THE SELECTION PROCESS FOR THE LEGISLATIVE AUDITOR POSITION From Council Chair J Yoshimoto, dated October 29, 2013, requesting an executive session to discuss the procedures, time frame, and criteria for selection of the new Legislative Auditor. The Council anticipates convening an executive meeting regarding the above matters, pursuant to Sections 92-5(a)(2) and 92-5(a)(4), for the purpose of considering the hiring of an officer or employee, as well as consulting with Council’s attorney on questions and issues pertaining to the Council’s powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities. A 2/3 vote pursuant to Hawai‘i Revised Statutes, Section 92-4, and Rules No. 2 and No. 10 of the Rules of Procedure of the County Council is necessary to hold an executive meeting.
