Reference: Comm. 544 Intr. by: Council Member Kaneali`i-Kleinfelder (B/R) Approve: FC-96 Res. 345-25: AUTHORIZES THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF HAWAI`I, DEPARTMENT OF LAND AND NATURAL RESOURCES, DIVISION OF FORESTRY AND WILDLIFE, FOR MUTUAL AID AND PUBLIC SAFETY COORDINATION Authorizes the Hawai`i Fire Department to enter into a mutual aid agreement with the Department of Land and Natural Resources, Division of Forestry and Wildlife, to establish clear working protocols for resource sharing, unified command structures, and coordinated responses in the event of wildfires that exceed either department's individual capacity. Reference: Comm. 547 Intr. by: Council Member Kagiwada(B/R) Approve: GOEAC-76 Res. 368-25: AUTHORIZES THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF LATER FISCAL YEARS TO ENTER A MULTI-YEAR AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES RELATING TO THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A CAFETERIA PLAN UNDER SECTION 125 OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE TO BE USED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES Authorizes the Mayor to enter into a one year and six month agreement, with options to extend for four subsequent one-year periods, with an approximate annual cost of$12,000, to furnish and implement a cafeteria plan consisting of health insurance premiums to be designated by the County as eligible for inclusion and two flexible spending accounts.
