<br /> Comm. 671.4: From Council Member Virginia Isbell, dated March 22, 2006, transmitting Bill 214,
<br /> Draft 3. Draft 3 amendments move funds to the Council's contingency account to
<br /> allow for additional examination and review of the requests for 1) environmental
<br /> assessments during sale of County land; 2) overtime; 3) property management
<br /> division salary and wages, operating expenses, and equipment; 4) police
<br /> commission other current expense; and 5) matching funds for the 2004 and 2005
<br /> Assistance to Firefighters Grant. In addition, the amendments propose to
<br /> I) establish additional contingency funds for council districts ($80,000/district);
<br /> 2) fund legislative expenses; 3) fund election expenses; and 4) fund a Grant Writer
<br /> position, SR 24 for the Department of Research and Development (attaches
<br /> Exhibit "A" which lists the total adjustments); and
