The parcel is listed as priority number fourteen for purchase in the 2020 Annual Report of the Public Access, Open Space, and Natural Resources Preservation Commission. Reference: Comm. 188 Intr. by: Ms. Villegas Approve: FC-33 Res. 83-21: AUTHORIZES THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO ENTER INTO NEGOTIATIONS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF TAX MAP KEY 7-6-004:003, SITUATED IN THE DISTRICT OF NORTH KONA, ALSO KNOWN AS KE ALA KAKOU, UTILIZING THE PUBLIC ACCESS, OPEN SPACE, AND NATURAL RESOURCES PRESERVATION FUND The County seeks to acquire this 2.4888-acre parcel to mitigate the risks of stormwater flooding damage, recharge area aquifers, and preserve and promote Hawaiian culture, tradition, and customary practices. The parcel is listed as priority number sixteen for purchase in the 2020 Annual Report of the Public Access, Open Space, and Natural Resources Preservation Commission. Reference: Comm. 189 Intr. by: Ms. Villegas Approve: FC-34 Res. 88-21: AUTHORIZES THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI-YEAR LEASE OF ONE TWO-MAN BUCKET TRUCK FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS Authorizes the Mayor to enter into a five-year lease agreement with an approximate monthly cost of$5,333.
