Reference: Comm. 1030 Intr. by: Mr. Yoshimoto Waived: FC Res. 519-14: APPROVES AND ADOPTS A SUPPLEMENTAL REPORT OF THE DIRECTOR OF ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT REGARDING THE PROPOSED SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT FOR THE LONO KONA SUBDIVISION, AMENDS RESOLUTION NO. 264-14 PERTAINING TO THE PROPOSED DISTRICT, AND PROVIDES FOR A PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE PROPOSED DISTRICT Amends the Director’s Report for this proposed Sewer Improvement District by adopting a revised Assessment Roll that includes: 1) an increase in Single Family Equivalent units (SFE); 2) a decreased fixed assessment for cost per SFE; 3) a decreased annual payment per SFE; and 4) that the County shall pay assessments for 10 properties owned by qualifying nonprofit agencies, pursuant to State and County law. Adoption of the amended Director’s Report would allow the County to proceed with implementation of this proposed Sewer Improvement District, which would include a new public hearing based on the revised Assessment Roll.
