Reference: Comm. 247 Intr. by: Ms. Poindexter Approve: FC-62 Bill 72: AMENDS ORDINANCE NO. 12-86, AS AMENDED, THE OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2013, RELATING TO THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS TO THE PUBLIC ACCESS, OPEN SPACE AND NATURAL RESOURCES PRESERVATION FUND Increases revenues in Real Property Tax Interest ($290,000); and appropriates same to Transfer to Public Access/Open Space Preservation (PONC) Fund. Real property tax interest revenues are expected to exceed the amount budgeted for FY 2012-13, requiring additional funds be transferred into the PONC account in order to be in compliance with Section 10-15 of the County Charter. Funds will be used towards vertical construction of the final phase of the Office of Housing and Community Development’s Ulu Wini project, consisting of 20 two-bedroom units.
