Hawaii County Clerk 01/16/2025 09:14:30 AM Hawaii County Council-4 January 22,2025 Bill 7: AMENDS ORDINANCE NO. 24-32, AS AMENDED, THE OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING DUNE 30, 2025 Increases revenues in the Federal Grants—Hawai`i County Police Department Roadblock Program account($37,839.15); and appropriates the same to the Hawai`i County Police Department Roadblock Program account, for a total appropriation of$532,839.15. Funds would be used to reduce the number of drivers operating a vehicle while impaired. Reference: Comm. 32 Intr. by: Council Member Kaneali`i-Kleinfelder (B/R) Approve: FC-12 Bill 8: AMENDS ORDINANCE NO. 24-32, AS AMENDED, THE OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING DUNE 30, 2025 Increases revenues in the Federal Grants—Occupant Protection Program account ($1,724.50); and appropriates the same to the Occupant Protection Program account, for a total appropriation of$161,724.50. Funds would be used for occupant protection projects. Funds would be used for training, education, enforcement, and community collaboration to reduce traffic fatalities and injuries.
