Comm. 589.]2: UPDATE OF THE ACTIVITIES OF THE LEGISLATIVE LIAISON From Council Chair Pete Hoffmann, dated February 25, 2008, requesting this matter be agendized in order for the Ad Hoc Task Force to apprise the Council on the activities of the legislative liaison. ORDER OF RESOLUTIONS Res. 526-08: Authorizes the Acceptance of a Monetary Donation of $500 to the Hawaii Fire Department. {Donated by Ms. Sara (Sally) Schuff, these funds would be used to support the Ocean Safety program.}; and FC-249. Res. 529-08: Amends Resolution No. 16-07, Draft 2, by Further Extending the Temporary Delay of Council Action on Rezoning Applications in the Districts of North and South Kona Until the North and South Kona Community Development Plan is Adopted by Ordinance, or December 1, 2008, Whichever Shall Occur First. {The extended temporary delay termination date of Mazch 1, 2008, has expired and the North and South Kona Community Development Plan process is nearing completion; however, an extension of time is necessary to allow the completion of final reports and recommendations, and the preparation of a financial plan.}; and PC-72. Res. 530-OS: Authorizes the Exemption of Certain Code Requirements, Pursuant to Sections 201H-38 and 201H-44 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes for the Proposed West Hawaii Emergency Housing Program in Kailua-Kona. {Wishes to establish an emergency housing program for homeless individuals on County-owned land in Kailua-Kona, identified as Tax Map Key 3/7-4-O10:portion of 020, to provide services to qualified homeless individuals in this County.}; and Comm. 1005.1: From Council Chair Pete Hoffmann, dated March 3, 2008, informing the Council that the Office of Housing and Community Development requests that this matter be agendized; and Comm. 1005.2: From Council Chair Pete Hoffmann, dated March 3, 2008, transmitting a proposed amendment relating to the exemption of certain code requirements.
