Res. 532-08: Transfers/Appropriates an Appropriation Out and From the Designated Fund Account(s) and Credits Same to a Designated Fund Account(s) for a New Sign Renaming Isaac Hale Park to the Isaac Kepo`okalani Hale Beach Park. {Transfers/appropriates $1,000 out and from Clerk-Council Services-Contingency Relief account; credits same to Department of Parks and Recreation Friends of the Park (Isaac Kepo`okalani Hale Beach Park Sign). Contingency Relief funds from District 5 would be used towards the purchase of a new sign renaming "Isaac Hale Park" to "Isaac Kepo`okalani Hale Beach Park".}; and Comm. 1010.1: From Finance Committee Chair Dominic Yagong, dated February 29, 2008, requesting that this matter be waived to the Council. Res. 537-08: Transfers/Appropriates an Appropriation Out and From the Designated Fund Account(s) and Credits Same to a Designated Fund Account(s). {Transfers/appropriates $15,000 out and from Clerk-Council Services-Contingency Relief account; credits same to Civil Defense Agency, Civil Defense Agency Other Current Expense (Kohala Ditch). Contingency Relief funds from District 9 would be used towards the Kohala Ditch Project in partnership with the North Kohala Community Resource Center.} Res. 538-08: Recognizes March 2008 as "American Red Cross Month" in Hawaii County to Honor the Invaluable Service the Red Cross Provides to the People of Hawaii. {Encourages all citizens to support their local Red Cross organization and its volunteers and honor them for their civic duty and life-saving activities.} Res. 539-08: Transfers/Appropriates an Appropriation Out and From the Designated Fund Account(s) and Credits Same to a Designated Fund Account(s). {Transfers/appropriates $35,000 out and from Clerk-Council Services-Contingency Relief account; credits to the following: Police Department, Police Administration Division-Equipment ($18,045), South Hilo Police-Salaries and Wages ($8,477), and Puna Police-Salaries and Wages (Aggressive Driving Project-East Hawaii) ($8,478), for a total of $35,000. Contingency Relief funds from District 3 would be used to initiate an Aggressive Driving Project in East Hawaii and for the purchase of six speed lasers.}
