<br />Hawaiʻi County Council-24 October 18, 2017 <br /> <br /> <br />Res. 311-17: AUTHORIZES THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL YEAR <br />AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI-YEAR <br />LEASE FOR FIVE SEMI-TRACTORS <br />Authorizes the Mayor to enter into a five-year lease agreement for five semi- <br />tractors for the Department of Environmental Management, Solid Waste <br />Division, at an approximate cost of $16,000 per month, needed to <br />accommodate the additional hauling capacity required to transport waste to the <br />West Hawai‘i Sanitary Landfill upon the closure of the South Hilo Sanitary <br />Landfill. The property contains an area <br />of approximately 39,525 square feet, to be used by various County agencies for <br />general office use and related services.
