Hawaii County Council-10 Page 4 April 8, 2009 Res. 69-09: Creates a Driver License Examiner I (2/ST) Position for the Department of Finance. {Since July 2008, examiners from the Hilo and Kona driver licensing offices travel to Ka`u twice a week to perform driver licensing services. This places a burden on those offices to maintain their level of services to the public and has resulted in unanticipated travel expenses.
