Hawaii County Council -4 Page 8 January 20, 2011 Bill 314: (2008 -2010) AMENDS ORDINANCE NO. 10 -59, AS AMENDED, THE OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAII FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2011 Increases revenues in State Grants — Domestic Violence Strategic Plan ($10,000); appropriates same to Domestic Violence Strategic Plan. Funds would be used by the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney to implement the "Navigating a Course for Peace, Domestic Violence Strategic Plan for 2007 - 2010" (additional grant monies would be used for activities in West Hawai`i). Re: Comm. 981 Intr. by: Mr. Onishi Approved: FC -1 Bill 321: AMENDS ORDINANCE NO. 10 -60, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO PUBLIC (2008 -2010) IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2010 TO JUNE 30, 2011 Adds PARKS AND RECREATION: Hawaiian Paradise Park —New Park Development ($5,500,000); funds shall be provided from General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund —Fund Balance and/or Other Sources ($5,500,000). Funds would be used to plan, design, and construct a new County park site on a 20 -acre parcel to be dedicated to the County. Re: Comm. 998 Intr. by: Mr. Onishi Approve: FC -2 2/3 Vote: Section 10 -6(d), Hawai`i County Charter Bill 322: AMENDS ORDINANCE NO. 10 -60, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO PUBLIC (2008 -2010) IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2010 TO JUNE 30, 2011 Adds PUBLIC WORKS: Kapi`olam Street Extension (Mohouli Street to Lanikaula Street) [$600,000] ( $8,700,000 ); funds shall be provided from General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund —Fund Balance and/or Other Sources ($8,100,000). Funds would be used to cover the costs for engineering design, Right -of -Way acquisition, and construction for the Kapi`olam Street Extension project.
