Hawaii County Council -15 May 4, 2011 Res. 64 -11: AMEND S THE R ULES OF PROCED URE AND ORGANIZATION OF THE CO UNCIL OF THE CO UNTY OF HAWAII BY AMENDING RULE NO. 17, AMENDMENTS AND REVISION The amendment adds language clarifying the "Amendments" section; adds subsections in the "Revisions" section regarding format, page numbering, font style and size, and that the updated Rules will be disseminated to Council Members in a binder. Re: Comm. 181 Intr. by: Ms. Ford Res. 65 -11: AMENDS THE RULES OF PROCED URE AND ORGANIZATION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTYOFHAWAII BY AMENDING RULE NO. 32, PUBLIC HEARINGS The amendment adds a new Rule No. 32 entitled, "Public Hearings" and sets a 30 -day maximum time period for a public hearing with the chairperson defining the time, place, and location; and during the budget cycle, the budget amendments shall be heard within the 30 -day time period but no later than May 31S of the current fiscal year.
