ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE COUNTY OF HAWAII GENERAL PLAN AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 89 142, AS AMENDED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. Purpose. The purpose of this ordinance is to adopt a General Plan in compliance with Section 3-15, Hawaii County Charter and to repeal the 1989 General Plan adopted by Ordinance No. 89 142, as amended. SECTION 2. The attached document identified as Appendix A, which also includes the Land Use Pattern Allocation Guide Maps and the Facilities Maps, is hereby adopted as the Hawaii County General Plan. SECTION 3. Ordinance No. 89 142 (1989 General Plan) and all subsequent amendments are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. In the event that any portion of this ordinance is declared invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the other parts of this ordinance.
