<br /> Hawaii County Council-29 Page 2 February 6, 2008 <br /> <br /> MEMORIALS, CERTIFICATES OF MERIT, AND EXPRESSIONS OF CONDOLENCE <br /> <br /> 8:30 A.M.: STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON COMMUNICATIONS AND ORDER OF <br /> <br /> RESOLUTIONS <br /> <br /> COMMUNICATIONS <br /> <br /> Comm. 589.10: UPDATE OF THE ACTIVITIES OF THE LEGISLATNE LIAISON <br /> From Council Chair Pete Hoffmann, dated January 25, 2008, requesting this matter <br /> be agendized in order for the Ad Hoc Task Force and Legislative Liaison <br /> Ralph Boyea to update the Council on the activities of the legislative liaison. <br /> ORDER OF RESOLUTIONS <br /> <br /> Res. 466-08: Amends Salary Ordinance No. 07-76 by Amending Section 3 Rates of <br /> Compensation, Deleting the Executive Pay Plan, and Amending Section 7.02(A) by <br /> Establishing Pay Rates for the County Physicians. {Amendment reflects a pay <br /> adjustment effective December 1, 2007, which will coincide with the compensation <br /> adjustments of the other executives whose pay is set by the Salary Commission.}; <br /> and FC-237. <br /> Res. 482-08 Authorizes Approval of In Lieu Fair Share Contribution to Satisfy Condition "K" of <br /> Ordinance No. 96 121. {Fair share contribution in an amount of $48,648 would be <br /> used for the support of road and traffic improvements, as required by Condition K; <br /> Hilo One, Inc., Applicant.}; and PC-61. <br /> <br /> Res. 483-08 Accepts the Dedication of Road Lots "A," "B," and "C" of the Kaha`olino <br /> Subdivision, Situate in Kalaoa, North Kona, County and State of Hawaii, Identified <br /> as Tax Map Key:(3)7-3-005:165, from Kaha`olino Partners, LLC. {Pursuant to <br /> Condition F of Ordinance No. 02-62, the following roadways have been improved <br /> to County dedicable standards: Road Lot "A" (Ki`eki`e Street) consists of <br /> 27,879 square feet, Road Lot "B" (Aka`ula Street) consists of 34,711 squaze feet, <br /> and Road Lot "C" (`Ili`ili Street) consists of 24,338 squaze feet.}; and PWIRC-50. <br /> <br /> Res. 486-08: Authorizes the Payment of Funds of a Later Fiscal Yeaz and More Than One Fiscal <br /> Year for aMulti-Year Lease of Office Space in Waimea. {The lease with Waimea <br /> Retail, LLC, is located within the Parker Ranch Center in Waimea, South Kohala <br /> (approx. 5,383 square feet) and would house the Finance Department's recently <br /> created Vehicle Registration and Licensing Division to provide basic vehicle <br /> registration and driver's license services.}; and FC-228. <br /> <br />
