Funds would be used to hire two employees to assist with transporting seniors, to purchase vehicles and train staff, and for other transportation program expenditures of the Department of Parks and Recreation's Elderly Activities Division. Funds would be used to increase the Hawaii Fire Department's ability to extricate victims from vehicular crashes. Reference: Comm. 115 Intr. by: Ms. David (B/R) Waived: FC Bill 29: AMENDS ORDINANCE NO. 18-68, AS AMENDED, THE OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAII FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2019 Appropriates revenues in the Federal—Disaster Case Management Program— Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) account ($1,734,373); and appropriates the same to the Disaster Case Management Program - FEMA.
